June Favorites!

Once again, I am late on the game. Ha, I swear every month just goes by so dang fast! I know I keep saying it, but these months just fly by.  I’m back today with another favorites blog for the month of June.

June was a really good month for me! I had the chance to go home to Madison to visit my family a few times, got some good four-wheeling in with my boyfriend, and got back into my health! I’d say that June brought me a ton of joy and happiness, what more can you ask for?!

I don’t wear makeup too often in the summer, because it tends to just sweat off my face. I did find a few favorites that I just could not put down though!

June’s favorites include:

  • Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
  • Tarte Amazonian Clay in Park Avenue Princess
  • Maybelline Fit Me concealer
  • Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free moisturizer
  • It for Ulta  foundation brush
  • Victoria Secret sports bra
  • My “handy dandy” Chapstick

Let’s start things off with the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette! I know everyone is all about the Naked Heat palette, and don’t get me wrong that palette has some drop-dead amazing colors in it, but it’s just not as wearable to me personally. I was able to score the Naked 3 palette at Ulta with 20% off with my platinum membership! I had been eyeing this up since it came out but never had the justification to buy it until now! Let me just tell you, that was a big mistake because this is a beautiful color scheme and palette. The colors blend beautifully and look great with each other! I haven’t been wearing this a ton, but anytime I go for an eye shadow look, it is definitely with this palette!

The Tarte bronzer in Park Avenue Princess , has always been a go-to of mine, but recently I have re-found it in my collection and started using it again! This leaves my cheek bones glowing and is perfect for summer!

For the summer months I don’t like to go to heavy with my face makeup. Most of the time I just wear a concealer under my eyes, my chin, and nose. I have pretty problem-free skin so this method works well for me. It leaves my skin all one tone, and doesn’t feel thick and cakey. I’ve always  been a fan of Maybelline face products and this has done nothing but good things for me.  I’ll always apply this with the It for Ulta brush, it leaves everything blended out perfectly!

Recently I hauled the Formula 10.0.6 Moisturizer, and I’ve found this to be my ultimate favorite moisturizer I’ve used.  it comes out of the bottle thick, but doesn’t leave the face feeling sticky which I enjoy especially since I use this as my day-time moisturizer. If you’re looking for a new moisturizer I would highly recommend this one!

During the summer I am all about the sports bras and being comfy! I hadn’t bought a Victoria’s Secret sports bra until they had the semi-annual sale recently. Having a sports bra that is your exact bra size really does make a difference, let me tell ya! I can wear this to work, workout and grab a coffee!

Now, my last favorite for the month is my “Handy Dandy” Chapstick. During the summer it’s a must for me to keep my lips hydrated, and this sugar cookie Chapstick is life! Okay, I might be exaggerating a tad bit, but honestly it smells so good, and works even better. What more can you ask for in a Chapstick?!

These are my favorites for the month of June! Hope this was helpful for you guys and maybe you’ll try one or two of these! Let me know your thoughts on these products or some of your favorites down in the comments below!

Sincerely,

Mackenzie
